【Responsibility】 

1. Develop automation test tools/fixtures which can be used to test the software/hardware functions (e.g., Media, Navi, BT, Connected services, and vehicle networks) of all of our automotive products.  

2. Develop test scripts and execute automation test for system validation, as well as improve validation processes and methodologies.  

3. Collaborate closely with Garmin global associates to develop, maintain and enhance automation test tools.  

4. Research the new technology and new testing feature / facility, particularly regarding automation and AI technologies for the automotive products.  

【Minimum Qualifications】 

1. Expertise in one or more of the programming languages C, C++, C#, Python. 

2. Experience with one or more of software, firmware, hardware design for automation test. 

3. Experience with git, gerrit or SVN. 

4. Good English communication skill. 

5. Good teamwork ability. 

【Preferred Qualifications】 

1. Experience with CAN bus/Vector CAPL. 

2. Experience with testing fixtures/equipment control.

We are looking for a full-time DevOps Senior Software Engineer to join the Systems Technology team in our Linkou, Taiwan office. This DevOps Software Engineer will help build and maintain the next generation of Garmin‘s Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) system, which is used to build embedded software for Garmin‘s award-winning products. 

Essential functions include: 

• Fluent in English and willing to work with multiple teams in different time zones. 

• TOEIC 800 or above. 

• Automating routine tasks wherever possible 

• Support the installation and upgrade of software engineering applications 

• Collaborate and add value by participating in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions  

• Evaluate, integrate, manage, and support new applications 

• Improve monitoring and alerting of services and CI tasks 

• Support testing of software engineering applications 

• Support application server capacity planning, backups and other server-based activities 

• Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques  

• Perform technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems  

• Serve as a mentor to less experienced software engineers

We are seeking a full-time Test Software Engineer (i.e. Software Development Engineer in Test) for our headquarters in Taiwan area (Linkou office). In this role, you will be responsible for building upon existing software solutions to develop test automation software for Garmin products and/or applications. 

Garmin has many different product segments - Wearables, Sports & Fitness, Outdoor Recreation, Automotive, Marine, Aviation. Since all of them have their own SW/HW features, our goal is to build a novel/mature test sequencer tool to let all Garmin teams be able to use it to develop their own test script/sequences intuitively and efficiently (includes manufacturing testing and engineering testing). A good product certainly needs a good testing tool to test its performance/features - with this role, you will have solid OOP software architecture design/implementation capabilities and have lots of chances to learn all segments products of Garmin. 

Responsibilities: 

-Design, develop, and maintain test automation software tools in C++, C# and Python 

-Implement software solutions for data analysis and reporting 

-Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code 

-Troubleshoot and debug software problems / testing issues 

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new test sequencer features 

-Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies 

Minimum Qualifications: 

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, related technical field or equivalent practical experience 

2. Strong programming experience in C++ and/or C# 

3. Experience programming in Python 

4. Experienced in SQL 

5. Experienced in Windows and/or Linux desktop applications development 

6. Strong problem-solving skills 

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Experienced in image test automation (Ex. OpenCV applications), and/or SBC tool development (Ex. Raspberry Pi), and/or data visualization tools (Ex. Power BI or Kibana from ELK) 

2. Experience in building test automation solution, automated internal frameworks, monitor system, or improving testing effectiveness 

3. Knowledge of system components, interfaces, and protocols on consumer devices such as touch, display, camera, audio, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, network protocols, power and battery, system performance, multimedia, sensors, NFC, USB, Type-C,SPI, I2C, I2S, UART, etc. 

4. Preferred experience with test automation frameworks/tools and instrument remote control 

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

6. Knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques 

7. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively

2. Set team target. Allocate resource, schedule according to priorities, and work with team to achieve the goals.

Responsibilities: 

• Design and develop audio frameworks and associated components on Android and Linux system. 

• Collaborate with product teams to design and implement audio solutions that meet project requirements. 

• Ensure compatibility and performance optimization of audio frameworks across multiple devices and Android versions. 

• Continuously improve and optimize audio frameworks based on user feedback and performance testing results. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor‘s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field. 

• Minimum of 3 years of Android platform development experience, specifically in audio development. 

• Proficiency in Android audio frameworks and APIs such as AudioTrack, AudioRecord, MediaCodec, Audio Policy, Audio Flinger, Audio HAL, etc.
